This Standard applies to electric lawnmowers intended for operation at low voltage. It applies to self-propelling lawnmowers and edge-trimming appliances.This Standard does not apply to cord-line trimmers which are covered by AS 3160.For the purpose of this Standard the term 'lawnmower' includes an edge trimming appliance.
