CONTAINED IN VOL. 11.03, 2001 Describes the dioctyl phthalate smoke test which is a reliable technique for measuring the fine particle arresting efficiency of gas or air cleaning system or device. Particularly of use for evaluation of the efficiency of depth and membrane filters, as well as particle collecting devices employed in air assay work.
