1.1This test method covers the determination of the wear resistance of fabrics coated with rubber or plastics to abrasion. The abrasion is measured by mass loss or number of cycles required to wear through the coating to initially expose the base fabric.
1.2The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
