1.1This practice is used to determine the presence of oil or water in compressed air used for abrasive blast cleaning, air blast cleaning, and coating application operations. It is also known as a blotter test.
1.2The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
