    1.1This test method covers the determination of the heating value of natural gases and similar gaseous mixtures within the range of composition shown in Table 1, and Table 2 that covers flare components but is not intended to limit the components to be measured in flare gases.

    1.2This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
