1.1This specification covers distillation equipment used in the following ASTM test methods: D86, D850, and (for approved alternative requirements only) Test Method D1078.
1.2Some items of equipment included in this specification are common to all methods; other items are not. Therefore, those portions of this specification pertinent to the need must be selected.
1.3The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
