    1.2 This specification also covers the detailed requirements for ASTM designated sensors.

    1.3 This specification also covers the requirements for general purpose, Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistor-type sensors intended for use with Digital Contact Thermometers (also known as Digital Thermometers) within the range from 50 to +150°C.
