AWS Filler Metal Specifications and Related Documents

79 VERSION CONTAINED IN ASME PV CODE 2C AS SFA-5.28 Outlines requirements for the above. These filler metals are restricted to bare and composite metal cored and stranded electrodes and rods whose compositions match chromium or manganese-molybdenum, nickel alloy, and other low alloy steels. All filler metals covered are useable with the GMAW process; only solid rods and electrodes are recommended for use with the GTAW and PAW welding process.
