Dimensions and tolerances, chain measuring loads and minimum tensile strength and recommended marking requirements. Also dimension of chainwheels and attachments. Derived from some short pitch transmission roller chains in BS 228 but with twice the pitch intended for less onerous conditions in terms of speed and power transmitted. Applies to simple (single strand) extended chains only.
