Covers a procedure for determination of the effects of substances on the reproduction, mortality, and growth of Eisenia fetida fetida and Eisenia fetida andrei by dermal and alimentary uptake, by means of an artificial soil substrate. Does not apply to volatile substances, that is substances where H (Henry's constant) or the air/water partition coefficient is larger than 1 or where the vapour pressure is in excess of 0.0133Pa at 25 deg C.
