This draft gives guidance for fire safety practitioners in their task of reducing risk to life by fires in structures, materials and composites. Measures are detailed as to how to consider the relevant issues to reduce the likelihood of toxic combustion products being formed in significant quantities. The draft cannot provide a set of rules capable of a single interpretation or provide an absolute guarantee of safety.
