Defines design requirements, materials and corrosion protection alternatives together with assessment procedures of both testing and calculations for open thread and covered thread adjustable telescopic steel props that are intended for use on construction sites (see Figure 1). Defines five classes of nominal characteristics strength for adjustable telescopic steels props with a series of maximum extended lengths, having different endplate configurations.
