States general requirements for management and organization of procedures for conservation of micro-organisms used for large-scale process and production. The intention is for the securing of safe handling and for ensuring reproducible results in biotechnology processes. Gives handling and preservation methods of microbial strains or cell lines from plants and viruses to obtain reproducible and safe cultivation processes for the industrial production of substances.
