Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Describes how a preliminary welding procedure specification is qualified by welding procedure tests.

Scope - (Show below) - (Hide below)

This part of ISO15614 specifies how a preliminary welding procedure specification is qualified by welding procedure tests.

This part of ISO15614 defines the conditions for the execution of welding procedure tests and the range of qualification for welding procedures for all practical welding operations within the range of variables listed in Clause8.

NOTE 1 It is possible that additional tests are required by applications standards.

NOTE 2 The various parts of ISO15614 comprise, in their turn, a series of International Standards on welding, details of which are given in ISO15607:2003, AnnexA.
