Gives an explanation of the underlying principles of OHSAS 18001 and covers the intent, typical inputs, process and typical outputs, against each requirement of OHSAS 18001 in order to help to understand and implement OHSAS 18001. Requirements additional to those in OHSAS 18001 are not created, and mandatory approaches to the implementation of OHSAS 18001 are not prescribed.
