Gives the requirements for two grades of lubricating oil, gear, extreme pressure for use in lubrication of automotive hypoid gear units, heavy industrial type enclosed gears, fluid lubricated universal joints and certain steering gear units of automotive equipment operating over the ambient temperature range: 0-186 - -40 degrees C to 0 degrees c and 0-226 - not lower than -15 degrees C.
