Applies to lining blocks for solid construction free-standing chimneys as specified in DIN 1056, provided that they consist of a material complying with DIN 105 Part 1, Part 3 or Part 4, or of some other ceramically bound material. This does not apply to shaped blocks of concrete, lightweight concrete, moler or kieselguhr earth.
