Diese Abhnahmeregein gelten für turbomolekularpumpen (im folgenden kurz pumpen genannt), die für ihren Betrieb Vorvakuumpumpen benötigen. Das Saugvermögen der Turbomolekularpumpen kann nicht vollständig definiert werden, ohne dass zu der Kurve des saugvermögens als Funktion des Ansaugdruckes Kurven für das Druckverhältnis und Kurven für die Änderungen des Ansaugdruckes als Funktion des Vorvakuumdruckes über den gesamten Arbeitsbereich und für verschiedene gase angegeben werden. Das Saugvermögen der benutzten Vorvakuumpumpen kombination soll zwischen 0,02 und 0,1 mal derm Nennsaugvermögen der turbomolekularpumpe für das entsprechende Gas leigen.
