Diese Norm gilt für Masse, Ausführung und Werkstoffe von Durchflussschauglasarmaturen mit runden Schauglasplatten aus Borosilikatglas nach DIN 7080 (X), aus Natron-KalkGlas DIN 8902 (Y) oder metallverschmolzene Schauglasplatten nach DIN 7079 (z. Z. Entwurf) (Z) für Flanschanschlüsse der Nenndruckstufen PN 16 und PN 25. Bei zulässigen Betriebstemperaturen niedriger als -10 grad C ist das AD-Merkblatt W10 zu beachten.
