Diese Norm enthält Angaben über Werkstoffe, Masse und Eigenschaften von keramischen Substraten für Dickschichtschaltungen sowie keramischen Substraten ohne Glasur und Glassubstraten für Dünnschichtschaltungen. Die Angaben beziehen sich auf die zur Zeit bevorzugten Werkstoffe und auf rechteckige Formate. Die Angaben über Material- und Oberflächeneigenschaften, Toleranzen und Formabweichungen sind auf nichtrechteckige Formen sinngemäss anwendbar.
