This standard is included in DIN Handbook 286. Describes laboratory methods of determining the thermal resistance and the thermal conductance of building elements. See DIN 52611 Part 2 for the use of thermal resistance values, in building applications, and DIN 52619 Parts 1 to 3 for methods of determining the thermal insulation of windows.
