Die Trittstufen nach diesem Dokument bestehen aus Lochblech. Sie sollen die Stufen aus Tränenblech nach DIN 83207 (für Maschinen- und Kesselräume) und DIN 83210 (für den Aussenbereich auf Schiffen) ersetzen, weil sie eine höhere Rutschhemmung aufweisen.
