This standard is included in DIN Handbook 351. Gives rules and guidance for classifying and designation of documents, together with a basis for agreements regarding preparation of a structured documentation, mainly for larger installations, such as plants, including systems and equipment. Describes all technical areas and is available for further developing of documents and document systems. Also provides guidelines for applications eg communication in the documentation and document identifying field. Includes non-technical areas as appropriate during the engineering process.
