    Dieser Teil der ISO 21003 legt die Eigenschaften für Rohre für Mehrschichtverbund-Rohrleitungssysteme fest, die in der Warm- und Kaltwasserinstallation innerhalb von Gebäuden für den Transport von Wasser eingesetzt werden - unabhängig davon, ob das Wasser für den menschlichen Gebrauch (Hausinstallation) oder für Heizungsanlagen verwendet wird - unter Berücksichtigung des betreffenden zulässigen Betriebsdruckes und der für die jeweilige Anwendungsklasse geltenden Temperaturen.
