Dieses Prüfverfahren wird zur Bestimmung der Beständigkeit gegen mechanische Penetration von Flächengebilden aus Vliesstoffen durch eine Kugel mit festgelegtem Durchmesser angewendet. Das vorliegende Verfahren ist vorrangig gestaltet, um bei Vliesstoffen mit einer gewissen Elastizität angewendet zu werden, bei denen der reguläre Berstversuch nicht anwendbar ist.
