    Proposes the revision of AS 1018-1985 by the identical adoption of IEC 60270:2000 as an Australian Standard. Applies to the measurement of partial discharges during tests with alternating voltages up to 400 Hz or with direct voltage. Describes types of measuring instruments, test circuits and methods of measurement of partial discharges in varies types of electrical equipment.
