Defines important dimensions for mechanical interchangeability for a preferred range of square cores (RM-Cores) made from magnetic oxides, dimensional limits for wound coil formers for use with these cores and locations of their terminal pins on a 2.54 mm printed wiring grid relative to the base outlines of the cores. In addition, it defines the main parameters of a range of standard inductance measuring coils for test purposes.
