IEC 60794-2-30:2008(E) is part of the IEC 60794 family specification which covers optical fibre ribbon cables for indoor use. The requirements of the sectional specification IEC 60794-2 are applicable to cables covered by this standard. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2003. It constitutes a technical revision. The main changes are: - subclause 5.4 has been detailed according to the fibre type; - Annex A has been added to show an example of cable construction; - Annex B has been added which is a blank detail specification including Mice classification and requirements.
