Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Applies to X-t recorders used for measuring voltage and current which record and measure analogue electrical quantities as a function of time. Also applies to a recorder whose chart scale lines do not correspond directly to the electrical input quantity, as long as the relationship between them is known. Not applicable to special purpose recorders or to special purpose devices (when they are used as accessories) which are covered by their own IEC standards. Applies to accessories of limited changeability and to non-interchangeable accessories if they are used with the recorder and the adjustments have been made for the combination. For controllers with electrical outputs and containing electrical recorders, does not apply to the control circuit; only applies to the recorder.
