Gives guidance on the safety aspects of the design of equipment and conduct of tests and laboratory experiments where subjects are exposed to mechanical vibration and repeated shock. Covers tests and experiments exposing subjects to whole-body mechanical vibration and repeated shock. Does not cover local vibration, although some of the procedures could apply.
