History
Pertains to an analogue presented Network Termination Point (NTP) intended to deliver 3,1 kHz voiceband services that terminates a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) with short to medium length 2-wire local loops, or equivalent NTPs, independently of the technologies used in the access part of the network itself. For the purpose of the present document, a "short to medium length 2-wire local loop" has a loop resistance not greater than 750 ohms.
