Establishes Telcordia's view on the generic requirements for an operator head telephone set that should meet the typical needs of a typical service provider. It defines the technical generic requirements that are needed to determine a headset's correct electrical and functional performance, and its compatibility with operator consoles, switchboards, and the telecommunications network (i.e. Automatic Call Distributors, Automatic Intercept Systems, etc.).
