Establishes Telcordia's view on the generic requirements for an operator head telephone set that should meet the typical needs of a typical service provider. It defines the technical generic requirements that are needed to determine a headset's correct electrical and functional performance, and its compatibility with operator consoles, switchboards, and the telecommunications network (i.e. Automatic Call Distributors, Automatic Intercept Systems, etc.). This Generic Requirement is aimed at developers, designers, manufacturers, consultants, suppliers, and users of headsets.
