This first edition, together with ISO 1998-1; 1998, ISO 1998-2; 1998, ISO 1998-3; 1998, ISO 1998-4; 1998, ISO 1998-5; 1998, ISO 1998-6; 2000 and ISO 1998-7; 1998 cancels and replaces ISO 1998-1; 1974 and ISO 1998-2; 1976. They constitute a full recast of the standard, with a new classification system for all terms of ISO 1998-1; 1974 and ISO 1998-2; 1976.
