This Standard specifies the fixed capacitors for direct current use assembled polypropylene film as dielectric and thin metal film as electrode, whose generic specification is JIS C 5101-1. The capacitors specified by this Standard are intended for use in electronic equipment. Capacitors for radio interference suppression are not included, but are covered by JIS C 5104-14.
