This Standard specifies general requirements and functional characteristics together with the corresponding test methods of small sized valve-regulated lead-acid cells and batteries which do not require water addition and are used for cyclic service trickle service and floating service. Further this Standard is applicable to batteries of the types specified JIS C 8702-2.
