This specification covers electric motor driven, engine lathes and toolroom lathes for use in general manufacturing or toolroom type operations with equipment and accessories specified herein. The lathes shall have geared head drive with quick change feeds and either manual shift or variable speed headstock. The requirements set forth in this specification and the completed Ordering Data (see 3.5 and 6.2) establish the Government\'s minimum requirements for each procurement.
