Describes design and construction of lightweight Antenna Pedestal Group AN/UPA-57 to support and position IFF interrogator antenna, in synchronism to remote or manual command input, or independently at selectable speed. Pedestal operates from 2 to 30 rpm when slaved and up to 15 rpm when free running.
