Le présent document s'applique aux systèmes radioélectriques fixes numériques (DFRS). Suivants: 1) Les systèmes point-à-point prévus pour l'opération dans les bandes de fréquences qui exigent de coordination; 2) Les systèmes point-à-point prévus pour l'opération dans les bandes de fréquences qui n'exigent pas de coordination; 3) Les antennes pour les DFRS point-à-point. Le présent document est prévu pour couvrir les provisions de la Directive 1999/5/CE et (l'article 3.2 de la Directive R&TTE) qui dit que 'les équipements hertziens sont construits de telle sorte qu'ils utilisent efficacement le spectre attribué aux communications radio terrestres ou spatiales ainsi que les ressources orbitales pour éviter les interférences dommageables'. En plus du présent document, les autres EN qui spécifient les exigences techniques dans le respect des exigences essentielles sous d'autres parties de l'article 3, de la Directive R&TTE peuvent s'appliquer aux équipements dans le domaine d'application du présent document.
