Le présent document définit les exigences de sécurité des piscinettes à usage familial de plein air, strictement réservées à poser sur le sol. Sont concernés les bassins d'une hauteur hors-tout comprise strictement entre 0,40 m et 0,85 m et d'un volume total théorique strictement inférieur à 8 m[3]. Sont exclues les piscinettes dont la température d'eau est constamment maintenue au-dessus de 28 degrés C.
