Dieser Teil der Normenreihe EN ISO 683 enthält die technischen Lieferbedingungen für fünf Gruppen von Wälzlagerstählen, wie in Tabelle 3 aufgeführt, nämlich: a) durchhärtende Wälzlagerstähle (Stähle mit ungefähr 1 % C und 1 % bis 2 % Cr); b) einsatzhärtende Wälzlagerstähle; c) induktionshärtende Wälzlagerstähle (unlegiert und legiert); d) nichtrostende Wälzlagerstähle; e) warmharte Wälzlagerstähle. Dieser Teil von ISO 683 gilt für die in Tabelle 1 angegebenen Erzeugnisse und Wärmebehandlungszustände und die Oberflächenzustände nach Tabelle 2. In Sonderfällen können bei der Anfrage und Bestellung Abweichungen von oder Zusätze zu diesen technischen Lieferbedingungen vereinbart werden (siehe Anhang A). Zusätzlich zu diesem Teil von ISO 683 gelten die allgemeinen technischen Lieferbedingungen nach ISO 404.
