Defines a set of physical layer tests for loop transmission products and subsystems that provide Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Basic Access Digital Subscriber line (DSL) functionality. Within this document tests referenced is focused on a two-wire DSL interface of which the system is under test and the Digital Loop Carrier system line units where applicable. Subsystems/Products for which testing is intended, (but not limited to) are Network Terminations (Type 1)/Network Terminations (Type 2), U-Interface Terminals/U-Interface Routers/Terminal Adapters/Line Unit Line Terminations/Line Unit Network Terminations/U-Interface Repeaters plus other range of extension technologies/ISDN Test Equipment/Line Terminations/plus integrated Circuits which are used in these types of equipment.
