    La présente Partie de l'EN 13244 donne un guide pour l'évaluation de la conformité à inclure dans le plan qualité du fabricant, en tant que partie de son système qualité. La présente Spécification Technique comprend: a) les exigences pour les matières, les composants et les assemblages, données dans les Parties 1 à 5 de l'EN 13244; b) les exigences pour le système qualité du fabricant; c) les définitions et les procédures à appliquer si une certification par tierce partie est prise en compte. Conjointement avec les autres Parties de l'EN 13244 (voir avant-propos), elle s'applique aux systèmes de canalisations en polyéthylène (PE) destinés à être utilisés dans des applications générales de transport d'eau, de branchement et de collecteurs d'assainissement, enterrés et aériens sous pression.
