Applies to cylinders for the storage and transport of compressed medical gas in cylinders having a water capacity exceeding 0.1 kg but not exceeding 500 kg. It specifies a system requiring both the legible marking of the cylinder with the name or abbreviated symbol of the gas it contains, and the covering of the cylinder with paint or other protective material of a specified colour.
