Sets out requirements for two types of paint intended for use in the protection of iron and steel against atmospheric requirements. For each type properties are specified for pigment composition, mixing properties, pot life and storage. Requirements are also given for panel performance tests and include preparation, drying time, finish, impact and corrosion resistance and recoating performance. Supplementary information to be supplied by the purchaser and notes on the use and application of the paint are included in appendices.
