A Sound absorption coefficient

Describes performance and testing of marine echo-sounding equipment required by Regulation 12 of Chapter V of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea. It establishes, minimum performance requirements, test methods and required test results for equipment which measures the depth of water under a ship by transmitting pulsed acoustic energy and timing the return of the echo from the sea-bed.
