Defines a gas chromatographic procedure for the determining of residues of dithiocarbamates and thiuram disulfides, that release carbon disulfide under the described conditions, e.g. thiuram, maneb, propineb, mancozeb, and zineb. Applicable to compounds in and on fruit, vegetables, cereals and other foods of plant origins. Generally the maximum residue limits (MRLs) are described in terms of carbon disulfide. Does not identify with individual compounds, but the quantification of the whole group, using this method.
