Applicable to electrically-operated food preparation appliances, either as separate machines with a single function or as multi-purpose machines with tools or attachments for several functions. They are intended to be placed on counters, tables, work tops or sinks, to be wall-mounted, built-in or hand-held, with supply from mains or batteries, capable to ensure the functions covered in clause 4 of IEC 60619.
