In particular, this Standard deals with the protection of electronic devices from electrostatic phenomena and is applicable to production and process activities, assembly, installation and packaging, labeling, maintenance, testing, inspection and transport carried out on electrical or electronic parts assembled or inserted in equipment, sensitive to damage caused by electrostatic discharges of intensity greater than or equal to 100 V on the body model (HBM), 200 V on the charging device (CDM) model and 35 V for insulated conductors.
