The CEI UNI ISO/IEC 18013 series standards define the guidelines for the design format and data content of an ISO driving licence (IDL ISO-compliant Driving Licence), with reference to human-readable characteristics (UNI CEI ISO/IEC 18013-1), machine-readable ISO technologies (UNI CEI ISO/IEC 18013-2) and access control, authentication and validation of integrity (UNI CEI ISO/IEC 18013-3).
